Our client is very ambitious and wants to build a professional master brand; targeting the satisfaction of male sexual experience. He found a reference product, Trembler, which is also our competitor. Since its patent is about to expire, we had the opportunity to simulate the same functionality and create an advanced project for AUTOBLOW. The product is designed to simulate masturbatory movements controlled by an air pump for a hands-free experience and satisfaction. It is very different from the masturbation cups currently on the market. Our job is to improve the user experience and make the updated look as compact as possible.

Customized Development -

This machine consists of many components. There is a core component and the other accessories, three size cups, air tube, adapter, and a screwdriver. Except the core functional component, those accessories should be storaged well when no need to operate to save the maximum of space. Because this project is unique and a bit nitch, our client won’t tend to spend money at plastic injection mold. After assessment for the possibility of modifying a current suitcase, we understood the difficulty on manufacturing. Our suggest for our client is to apply a more delicate manufacturing method. Properly avoid from big mold even though it causes higher unit cost. It’s a less risky way for products to the first trial on market.

Scrutinize Structure Design -

The operation of the machine requires great strength. The wear and tear of internal parts will reduce the product life, which is more directly reflected at making metal clanging noise. The internal metal bracket and aluminum extruded shell cannot withstand multiple collisions with each other, so our team proposed silicone as the the cushion structure covering at side of the metal bracket and absorbs vibrations between the parts. At the same time, this kind of combination makes the machine repairable and the assembly steps are simplified.

Competitive sleeves are mostly made of rubber, and we think that too much friction has lead to a poor feel. Although TPE is the softest, it will make that the air pressure is difficult to control the motion and causes a waste of consumables. Therefore, our goal is to change the material into silicone, which is not only more skin-friendly, but can be disassembled, cleaned and reused many times.

Since this kind of product form is rare on the market, and we have no relevant development experience, it means we need to learn a new field from scratch. In order to improve the rationality of production and accurately optimize the user experience, we created an exclusive product development process for this project. At the same time, we show our enthusiasm and how we react when facing challenges. We must encounter many difficulties in the process, but we analyze the problems step by step and solve them. As the first large-scale product with powerful functions, it has the marketability to experiment, and it also accumulates enough design experience well. It’s able to be further improved in the future and even can get the generation 2. We established a solid cooperative relationship with our client by this project.
